2025.03.05 – The fifth edition of the INAPP Survey on the Supply of Vocational Training (SVT) is currently underway and will conclude in July 2025. The Survey on the Supply of Vocational Training (SVT) aims to provide a detailed overview of vocational training activities in Italy, capturing the structural characteristics and evolving dynamics of the public and private funding vocational training system.
The statistical survey involves data collection through a mixed method approach, employing CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) and CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) techniques, with a questionnaire directed at accredited organisations/structures for training within the Regions and Autonomous Provinces. The survey encompasses all training sectors: initial training, dual system and higher education, apprenticeships, continuing education, and lifelong/adult learning. It utilises methodologies, classifications, and definitions that are harmonised at both national and European levels. The Survey collects key indicators regarding the dissemination and characteristics of publicly and privately funded training offerings, at both national and regional levels.
The SVT Survey is a recurring statistical survey included, under the code Iap-00013, in the PSN 2023-2025 (National Statistical Programme of SISTAN, approved by Presidential Decree on 24 September 2024, Official Gazette No. 268 of 15-11-2024 – Supplement No. 39) and mandates a response obligation from private entities, in accordance with Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 322 of 6 September 1989. It is also included in the National Programme for Youth, Women, and Employment FSE+ 2021-2027, for which INAPP acts as an intermediate body.
