On Wednesday, 30 October, the webinar “Typologies and trends in the evaluation of local social service quality: a perspective from Europe and Italy” will take place.
Inapp, as part of its Three-Year Programme of Activities (PTA 2022-2024), has developed a pilot research project focused on verifying the existence and operation of quality measurement systems for social services across selected European contexts.
This research involved conducting targeted case studies, which have revealed a highly diverse European landscape, providing stimulating insights into social service quality standards. Alongside this, a qualitative survey involving key Italian stakeholders has been conducted. The results of this study have allowed the identification and validation of specific analytical dimensions, integrating the work at the European level and creating a foundation for assessing social service quality within Italy.
The webinar offers a space for sharing and discussion between the research community and local authorities, with the aim of fostering an increasingly nuanced debate.
The event will be introduced by Franco Deriu, Head of the Social Inclusion Unit at Inapp, and moderated by Matteo D’Emilione, PTA Project Coordinator. Closing remarks will be delivered by Giovanna Giuliano from the Civil Economy and Migration Processes Unit.
