SINAPPSI – Connecting research and public policy is the triannual open access journal that provides a platform for debate on issues linked to the evaluation of labor and social policies, education and training, and any and all policies that impact the labor market and the welfare system.

The Journal is at the service of decision makers and the community as a whole, transforming complex scientific research into actionable information for those who are called on to make choices for the common good. In this sense, the Journal aims to facilitate policy decisions and to help citizens to understand them. SINAPPSI was created in October 2017, radically renewing the legacy of the Isfol Observatory (journal of the the Institute for the Development of Vocational Training for Workers), first published in 1975.

SINAPPSI is one of the scientific journals officially recognized by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research Systems (ANVUR). Quality and methodological rigor of articles are guaranteed through the use of double-blind peer reviews.
