Issue 1-2024 of Sinappsi will be dedicated to the theme of “Essential workers, weak workers: the condition of the workforce after the pandemic”.
It will include articles and essays useful to analyse the latest developments in the labour situation during and after the pandemic crisis. The main focal point will be the definition of what “essential” professions are in topical discourses, in an attempt to understand whether the use of such label has triggered any changes in working conditions and their related policies, as well as in representational processes, or if it has become nothing short of a mere rhetorical tag.
A call for papers is in progress for the publication of this Issue.
