European Employment and Social Rights Forum

14.11.2023 – The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL) organises the second edition of the “European Employment & Social Rights Forum”, to be held in Brussels on 16 and 17 November 2023.

This year’s Forum will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on the labour world.

The rapid technological transformation and new digital technologies create new employment and business opportunities, broaden access to education, increase productivity and improve our performance. However, these advances also highlight increasing inequality and a lack of transparency on a global scale. How can we ensure fairness, inclusiveness and transparency while moving within the new labour market?

During this event national and EU policy-makers, ministers, EU institutions and businesses representatives, social players, the civil society as well as academics will evaluate the current challenges and opportunities brought by artificial intelligence into the labour world.

Andrea Ricci will attend remotely on behalf of Inapp’s Director General and European Year of Skills national Coordinator, Dr. Santo Darko Grillo.
