22.06.2023 –The first European Year of Skills National Coordinators meeting was held in Brussels on 7 June. The meeting, chaired by Ann Branch (Head of DG EMPL “Skills Agenda” Unit), was attended by 61 representatives, including 41 national representatives, European Parliament, ETF and Cedefop observers, and DG EMPL staff.
National Coordinators from Slovenia, Portugal, Finland, Belgium and Italy presented those dissemination and promotion activities that are already implemented or scheduled for implementation in their own Country.
Four subsequent half-day meetings are scheduled to be held online by May 2024, plus a follow-up meeting to be held after the year’s end. Another in-person meeting possibly to be held in November.
