09.10.2023 – “Mind the gaps – Skills and learning in a changing world of work”, a European Year of Skills flagship event organised by Cedefop, will be held in Bruxelles on 12 October.
The conference aims at fostering dialogue, disseminating results of research and policies on the subject of skills, and reflecting on how to best match VET, skills and qualifications with the constantly evolving needs of the workforce, economy and society at large.
During this event the topic of “lack of skills” will be tackled from three different perspectives: the growing gap between supply and demand of skills on the labour market; discrepancies between individuals’ and employers’ needs and expectations; opportunities and challenges related to the implementation of policies and VET programmes apt to close these gaps.
Claudio Vitali will attend the conference on behalf of Inapp’s Director General and European Year of Skills national Coordinator, Dr. Santo Darko Grillo.
