20.09.2023 –The Skillman International Forum (SIF) 2023, titled “The Planet of Skills. Revised Perspective on Networking Potential” in this year’s edition, will be held in Riga on 26 and 27 September.
It aims to discuss a number of issues ranging from the potential of global networking, interpreted as a resource for co-creating our common knowledge, to the emerging megatrends according to which any qualification has a role and where microcredentials may represent an answer to the latest skill demands.
Within the context of the debate, local responses and global trends will be taken into account with special emphasis on the green and digital transition and other innovative approaches. Such themes will be analysed from a variety of different perspectives and with the needs of active citizenship in mind. The Forum is organised by the Skillman Network in collaboration with the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science– as part of the European Year of Skills, in collaboration with Europea Latvia, the European Training Foundation and the Asian Development Bank.
On behalf of Inapp, Laura Evangelista and Concetta Fonzo will coordinate the “Self-assessment at VET provider and system level; quality assurance tools and methods” workshop on 26 September.
Inapp’s Director-General and European Year of Skill national coordinator, Dr. Santo Darko Grillo, will attend the “Wrapping up: Skillman 2023 meanings and Riga Declaration” closing session on 27 September.
