23.10.2023 – The conference titled “Skills in the cinema and audio-visual field” will be held on 26 October at La Casa del Cinema in Rome within the context of the European Year of Skills. Attendance is expected by institutional representatives, journalists, European Commission officials and experts on this field.
The European Parliament Liaison Office in Italy and the Representative Office of the European Commission will take part in the Rome Film Festival in their quality of institutional partners. The goal is to highlight EU support to cultural and creative industries, and raise awareness in citizens of the importance of voting in view of the European elections of 9 June 2024.
EU institutions participation falls within the Creative Europe programme, the major tool implemented by the Commission to assist cinema and audio-visual industries in developing, disseminating and promoting European works, in order to strengthen European competitiveness at a global level while taking the current digital context into account.
Inapp’s Director-General and European Year of Skills national Coordinator, Dr. Santo Darko Grillo, will deliver a speech titled “The European Year of Skills in Italy: focusing on skills in the cinema and audio-visual field”.
