INAPP for VET

The National Institute for the Analysis of Public Policies (INAPP) annually conducts monitoring of participation in vocational education and training (VET) programmes and dual-mode pathways on behalf of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.

This survey is carried out with the contribution of representatives from the 21 Regions and Autonomous Provinces, who collect qualitative and quantitative data from their respective areas. The aim is to assess the progress of the Vocational Education and Training system through participation in VET and dual pathways.
The collected information describes the system’s advancement and is used for defining ministerial decrees for the allocation of resources.

Data collection is carried out through two survey forms containing information on: participation, educational outcomes, types of pathways, professional profiles, age, gender, citizenship, students with disabilities, etc. Finally, data on financial resources committed and provided by the administrations is recorded, detailing the source of funding (link).

VET is also constantly at the centre of research, surveys, and events organised by the Training Systems structure of the Institute.
