Erasmus+ evaluation: public consultation open until December

19/09/2023 – The European Commission launched a public consultation on 15 September as part of its evaluation of the Erasmus+ Program. The consultation, available in all 24 EU languages, will run for 12 weeks, and will be available online until 8 December 2023.

The input gathered will help the Commission learn about citizens’ and organisations’ views on Erasmus+, its implementation and the new features introduced in the 2021-2027 Work Programme. The consultation will also provide useful feedback on the implementation of inclusion measures, simplification of the programme and will ask citizens and stakeholders for input on the program’s resilience, its impact on society, and their suggestions for the future of Erasmus+.

They will also contribute to the evaluation of the overall performance of the Program based on five criteria (effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence, EU added value).

Feedback is welcome not only from key stakeholders but also from the public, in particular the main target audiences are:

  • national authorities of countries associated with the Program and National Agencies responsible for implementation
  • international organisations collaborating with the Program
  • international, transnational, national, regional and local municipal structures and other public authorities or organisations
  • sectoral or horizontal stakeholder organisations and networks working in higher education, school education, adult education, vocational education and training, youth and sport
  • nongovernmental organisations (NGOs and civil society)
  • organisations that currently participate or have participated in all areas covered by the program
  • individuals who currently participate or have participated in the program
  • alumni organisations and other relevant individuals or citizens.
