VET programmes are delivered at Vocational Training Centres (Centri di Formazione Professionale, CFP) – institutions accredited by the Regions to carry out recognised training activities – and at State Vocational Institutes (Istituti Professionali statali; under a system of subsidiarity, meaning they substitute for CFPs in areas where they are insufficient to meet enrolment demand).
