On January 13th and 14th, as part of a memorandum of understanding signed with the International Society for Child Indicators, Inapp is organising a meeting to present the launch of the fifth wave of the Children’s Worlds – International Survey of Children’s Well-Being, the first international study on children’s well-being from the perspective of the children themselves.

The aim of the meeting, attended by experts from 24 countries, is to share methods and operational protocols for such research.

During the first day institutional greetings will be given by Cinzia Canali, member of the Inapp Board of Directors and Director of the Zancan Foundation, while the closing remarks will be delivered by Assuntina Morresi, Deputy Head of Cabinet to the Minister for Family, Birth Rate, and Equal Opportunities. Antonello Scialdone, Senior Researcher at the Inapp Civil Economy and Migration Processes Unit, will moderate the roundtable discussion “Children and Well-being: From Research to Policy.”

The 14th of January will see the participation of international experts such as Bong Jo Lee, Sunsuk Kim, and Jae Jin Ahn from Seoul University, Monica Gonzalez Carrasco and Ferran Casas from the University of Girona, and Asher Ben-Arieh, co-chair of the International Society for Child Indicators. The conclusions will be presented by Paloma Vivaldi Vera, coordinator of Inapp for Children’s Worlds Italy.

In-person event with limited attendance, open to a select list of participants.
