The seminar ‘Working from Home and Demographic Rebalancing of Inland Areas’ will take place on Monday 18 November in Rome at the Inapp Auditorium and via online conference.

The event is the second edition of SWAI, a series of workdays devised by the National Observatory on the impact of remote forms of work on inland areas, with the first event being held in Campobasso in October 2023.

The seminar is part of the project ‘Smart Working. Research Paths for Regulation, Measurement and Analysis’ envisaged by the PTA 2022/2024. This project led to the creation of the Observatory, in which INAPP and the University of Molise-Research Centre for Inland Areas and the Apennines (ArIA) have been engaged in various activities over the past two years.

During this day of study and policy advising, the volume ‘Smart Working, Life and Work Times and the Demographic Rebalancing of the Territories’, edited by Luisa Corazza, Luca Di Salvatore, Filippo Tantillo and Rosita Zucaro will be presented. This volume collects the contributions from researchers who presented their papers at the previous edition of SWAI.

The proceedings will be opened by Inapp President Natale Forlani and will include contributions by Manuel Marocco, Filippo Tantillo, Rosita Zucaro, Marina De Angelis and Massimo Resce.
