The Collaboration Agreement between Inapp and DiPoFam aims to develop synergies in a logic of continuity and expansion of existing initiatives, in light of the provisions introduced by Law no. 33/2023 and its implementing decree, Legislative Decree no. 29/2024 ‘Provisions on policies in favour of the elderly (ex articles 3, 4 and 5 Law 33/2023).
The specific objectives are as follows:
- to expand mutual knowledge on ageing and optimise respective competences in areas of common interest
- to consolidate formalised national coordination between institutional actors, at all levels of government, and civil society actors involved in these issues, in order to collaborate on the development of policies and interventions for ageing and long term care
- to promote the joint development of policies for active ageing, with particular regard to the fields of work, life-long learning, and social policies, taking as reference the Collaboration Agreement signed by DiPoFam with IRCCS-INRCA, in harmony with the principles of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA) and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
- to contribute to the elaboration of proposals on Long Term Care (LTC), in synergy with the relevant government and third sector actors
- to cooperate with national and international bodies responsible for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the MIPAA, through shared and coordinated actions between public and private stakeholders
- to collaborate with the UNECE Standing working group on ageing (SWGA) for the revision of the Regional Implementation Strategy (RIS) of the MIPAA and to support it in the elaboration and dissemination of all initiatives on the theme of ageing
- to disseminate the results of this Agreement at national, EU and international level
- to collaborate, from a technical-scientific point of view, in the definition and study, as far as the DiPoFam is concerned, of actions and strategies useful for the composition of the ‘National Plan for Active Ageing, Social Inclusion and the Prevention of Frailty in the Elderly Population’ by the CIPA (ex art. 2, co. 3, lett. a, Law 33/2023)
- collaborating in the identification of indicators for monitoring the actions and strategies mentioned in the previous point.
