The Internationalisation Service supports the President in promoting agreements and cooperation protocols with institutional actors within the European Union and with institutions in the international scientific community to facilitate dialogue on topics of interest to the Institute and to implement research projects of a supranational scope. The Service identifies funding sources by finding competitive calls for proposals and analysing their relevance to the Institute’s strategies. It coordinates the Institute’s participation in these calls, involving resources whose expertise can ensure the highest quality contributions, especially during the project design phase, in preparing the applications.
For projects awarded to Inapp as a result of participating in competitive calls, this Service assists the President in monitoring the scientific aspects of implementing the relevant activities and managing relationships with the European Commission and other commissioning bodies, as well as with any project partners.
