“Le competenze per vivere e lavorare” (Skills for life and work) and “Competenti si diventa” (Skilled are made, not born) are two documentaries born from a partnership between Inapp and Rai (the Italian State-owned public service broadcaster) for the purpose of tackling the issue of skills, a complex though crucial theme for education and training policies, both at national and European level. Both documentaries have a length of about thirty minutes each, and examine skills from different viewpoints, while trying to answer a number of questions: what are skills? How do skills develop and evolve? What kind of policies can support their improvement?
