The PIAAC Survey. Interview with Tullio De Mauro

“Times have changed since reading, writing and calculation were an adequate wealth to do big things in a farmers’ world”, says Tullio De Mauro in this November 2016 interview, recorded during the production of two INAPP documentaries filmed in partnership with RAI. De Mauro explains that reading, understanding, calculation processing, and problem-solving also by the use of technologies are basic skills required in order to be able to act at school, in the labour world as well as in daily life.
