European Language Label

iniziative

The European Language Label is an award encouraging the development of new techniques and initiatives in the field of language learning and teaching, as well as the strengthening of intercultural awareness to improve standards in language teaching throughout Europe.

It is a kind of ‘quality label’ granted by the European Commission and is intended to promote multilingualism for Erasmus+ projects that have particularly distinguished themselves in foreign language teaching results.

The prize is awarded every two years to the most innovative language learning projects that support at least one of the European themes identified for that year. The European themes may be supplemented by national themes.

The European Language Label in Italy is awarded by:

Erasmus+ Agency Indire for the school, higher and adult education sectors,

Erasmus+ Agency Inapp for the Vocational Education and Training sector.

Projects focusing on language teaching and learning can be applied to the European Language Label. Projects must be completed or in the final stage of implementation. No national or European funding is attached to the award.
