Survey on Quality and Accreditation Models

Objective: To delve into the evolution of the accreditation system as a pivotal tool for the quality of the vocational training system
Survey population: directors and managers of accredited training institutions
Data collection technique: mixed CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing)/CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing)

The survey analyse the evolution of the accreditation system, a pivotal tool for the quality of the vocational training system, with the intention of defining regulatory guidelines.

As a result of economic and social changes as well as the development of new training methodologies and models, the vocational training model agreed upon in the State-Regions Agreement has changed significantly.

The survey, which is part of the activities of PON SPAO, Axis II Education and Training, Action 10.1.8., aims to identify the contents of a new model that can become a point of reference for Regions and Autonomous Provinces and is structured along two approaches:

  • A qualitative analysis carried out through in-depth interviews and focus groups with stakeholders at national level
  • A quantitative survey activity carried out through interviews with directors or managers of accredited training institutions, after having updated the national database of accredited institutions.

The survey is carried out by the “Accreditation and Training Quality” research group, within Inapp’s Education and Training Systems Unit, and adopts questionnaires based on the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) and CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) methodologies.
