The Enterprises and Labour Survey (ELS), now in its 6th edition, collects data on the managerial structure and demographic profile of entrepreneurs, the nature of employment and methods of staff recruitment, the nature of industrial relations, types of investment and exposure to international trade, technological innovation and credit. In addition, the survey includes the collection of detailed data on the effects of public policies on labour, vocational training and business. Given the exceptional nature of the situation that enterprises have experienced and are still experiencing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the present ELS survey also collects information on internal labour organisation choices. The results yield important indications regarding competitive opportunities, changes in labour organisation and the functioning of labour supply and demand.
