Ongoing Survey
2024.10.28 – The eleventh edition of the Inapp-PLUS survey (Participation, Labour, Unemployment, Survey) is currently underway and will continue until January 2025.
This survey, which has been conducted by the Institute since 2005, is a recurring national sample survey and is classified as being of public interest, as established by Legislative Decree 322/1989. It is part of the National Programme “Youth, Women and Work” 2021-2027, for which Inapp acts as an intermediate body.
Inapp-PLUS surveys a sample of 45,000 individuals aged 18 to 74, aiming to explore key aspects of the labour market, such as youth entry into employment, the extension of working life among older age groups, female participation in the workforce, and methods used to search for jobs. It also seeks to capture details about the work characteristics of employed people and shifts in employment conditions.
Notable features of the survey include: no proxy respondents (answers are provided directly and exclusively by the interviewee); questionnaire modules dedicated to each type of employment contract, with specific questions administered selectively; comprehensive population coverage, especially among all employed persons; and a longitudinal structure that allows for flow analyses between various employment and non-employment statuses.
An interviewer will contact households to select participants for the survey. One family member will be chosen at random and asked to complete a questionnaire through a telephone interview.
